Ductile Iron Pipe Fittings
Ductile iron pipe fitting is a kind of pipe parts made of ductile iron material with high strength, high toughness and good corrosion resistance. Its core feature is that the graphite is distributed in the matrix in a spherical form, which significantly reduces the stress concentration, thereby improving the overall strength and toughness.

Manufacturing processes and application areas
Ductile iron pipe fittings are usually manufactured by centrifugal casting process. After heat treatment and coating protection treatment, it has excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. They are widely used in water supply, drainage, gas transmission and other fields, and have become an indispensable infrastructure in modern municipal construction.
Performance characteristics
1. High strength: the tensile strength of ductile iron pipe is usually between 400 and 700 MPa, while the traditional gray iron pipe is only about 150 MPa .
2. High toughness: ductile iron pipe elongation of more than 10%, can withstand greater external impact and deformation.
3. Corrosion resistance: the surface is usually coated with a layer of asphalt paint or cement mortar lining, which can effectively isolate the external acid and alkali substances and protect the pipeline.
4. light weight and high strength: compared with traditional steel pipe, ductile iron pipe lighter weight, convenient and quick construction, to adapt to complex terrain conditions.
