1. Raw material preparation: The main raw materials of stainless steel plate are steel, chromium, nickel and other metals. First, select suitable raw materials according to different requirements and specifications and mix them.
2. Smelting: Put the raw materials into a large furnace and melt them by high temperature heating. Through smelting, the composition of stainless steel can be adjusted and controlled to ensure product quality and performance.
3. Continuous casting: Pour the molten stainless steel into the continuous casting machine and quickly solidify it into a billet through the crystallizer and cooling water. The continuous casting machine can produce billets of different specifications and sizes.
4. Hot rolling: The billet is fed into the hot rolling mill, and after multiple rolling and stretching, it gradually becomes thinner to form the required thickness and width. During the hot rolling process, the stainless steel plate deforms under high temperature and pressure to achieve the required mechanical properties.
5. Pickling: There are certain scales and impurities on the surface of the hot-rolled stainless steel plate, which need to be cleaned by pickling. Soaking the stainless steel plate in acid can remove the oxides and impurities on the surface and increase the brightness of the stainless steel plate.
6. Cold rolling: The stainless steel plate after pickling enters the cold rolling mill. After multiple rolling and stretching, the thickness of the stainless steel plate is further reduced and its surface quality and flatness are improved.
7. Annealing: Cold-rolled stainless steel plates will produce certain stress and need to be annealed. The stainless steel plate is heated to a high temperature and then slowly cooled. During the annealing process, the grain boundaries of the stainless steel plate recrystallize, eliminating stress and improving tensile strength and plasticity.
8. Surface treatment: According to different needs, the stainless steel plate is surface treated, such as polishing, pickling, spraying, etc., to increase the beauty and corrosion resistance of the stainless steel plate.
9. Cutting and leveling: Cut and level the stainless steel plate according to the size required by the customer to obtain the final product.
10. Inspection and packaging: The stainless steel plate is quality inspected to ensure that it meets the relevant standards and requirements. The finished product is then packaged for transportation and storage.
The above is the production process of stainless steel plates. These steps can ensure the quality and performance of stainless steel plates to meet the needs of various applications.
